Long-time drum corps personality Jim Centorino has entered a new realm of music composition with this recording.
It is his third work following the acclaimed "Footsteps in the Sand" and "Ivory", which gained national recognition and enjoyed much success.
The album is a combination of traditional Christmas melodies arranged Centorino-style, and original works that highlight his creative style and
unique musical ideas. Pay close attention and you will hear a drum corps influence. Although subtle, it's plenty obvious
to those who have followed the activity for any amount of time.
Throughout the recording, Centorino, who is a high school science teacher, makes it perfectly clear that
music is for everyone, especially when he is joined on one tune by his young son, Jim Jr., who lends a hand on
various percussion instruments and proves that musical ability is certainly a genetic trait.
